The exhaust system consists of a composition of compartments connected by pipes, starting from the engine to the tailpipe at the end of the car. One system is sufficient for most cars while two systems may be needed for 8-cylinder engines.
Basically, the exhaust system consists of exhaust manifolds (which accumulate all gases from the engine cylinder into one pipe), oxygen sensors (which record oxygen levels to regulate fuel efficiency), catalytic converters (to reduce gas toxicity) and exhaust (dampers that reduce loud sound from burning).
The flexible exhaust pipe provides flexibility to the exhaust. There is a possibility that the motor is damaged or cracked or multiplied due to repetitive movements and cross-placement. Flexible pipes only provide the amount of flexibility needed for this entire process. This basically consists of a woven metal sleeve that can be tucked over the pipe, not attached to the flexible tube extremity.
